Ideally situated in the heart of seaside resort Andernos, in a quiet of a dead-end alley, our little house has been entirely renovated in 2018 for a party of four. A nice terrace with wooden benches, dining table and chairs and lots of cushions for confortable sitting or lying down make you feel on holidays from the minute you arrive.
Beaches, the indoor market, shops and cinema are all at walking distance. Children playgrounds at the oyster harbour and the marina are at a 10 minutes bike ride.
The lodging has a spacious and very light living room and fully equipped kitchen. A couch and two cosy arm chairs provide sufficient soft sitting space for all. The master bedroom is light and its French windows open upon the terrace. The children bedroom is small but functional and light. This goes for the bathroom as well; small, functional, light and well equipped.

It's forbidden to park in the alley, but allowed to approach the car to empty or load it (enter in reverse). You can park in the one way street at the beginning of the alley.

There is no private parking space, but the one-way street the connected to the alley is quite quiet. You'll always find a space. Upon arrival and departure you can approach the car to take out or charge your luggage. It is strongly advised to enter the ally in reverse.

Outdoors
Some beach toys and a small umbrella are provided. The beach lies at 650 metres. Children playgrounds are to be found at the two harbours: La plage du Betey (our favorite) and le port ostréicole.

The rental is available after 4 PM.
The day of your arrival we kindly thank you for sending us a text message (0033 615153851) before 11 am in which you inform us of your estimated arrival time (no need to call us, a text message will do). If this estimated time changes due to unforeseen difficulties on the road, please inform us as soon as you know this. A last text message right after you took exit n°10 on the Bordeaux ring road would be very useful, we'll know exactly at what time to expect you.

Cancellation/Prepayment/Deposit
A 100€ deposit is demanded and can be paid through the Gîtes the France system by credit card print. It will not be cashed and will be fully returned on departure, if the lodging is handed over as clean and tidy as upon arrival.
The entire reservation procedure, the cancellation conditions and payment of your stay and tourism taxes are handled by Gîtes de France. (The Gîtes de France N° for Gîte Centro Calmo is G2202).

For a relaxed start of your holidays your beds will be made when you arrive. At your departure we kindly pray to put all the bedlinen, mattress and pillow covers included, in the laundry basket in the garage.
The bath linen ser is composed of a large, middle-sized towel and a small hand towel.
The kitchen linen set is composed of a dish cloth, a hand towel, a micro-fiber cleaning cloth and a grating spunge.

A foldable cot (until app. 4 months) and a foldable bed (from 4 months until 2.5 years), as well as a bed barrier for children over 2.5 years old who wish to sleep in a "real big bed" are available. Thank you for letting us know in advance if you wish to use one these solutions.

Pets are not allowed.
In order to care for the health of travellers who suffer from allergies and/or breathing problems, we have decided not to accept any pet in our lodging, even if we love all animals (we have 2 dogs and 2 cats at home!)
